Importance of the internationalization of the university student's profile

A reflective text is presented to highlight the importance of the internationalization of the profile of university students in light of a global social and labor scenario. The conceptual foundations rest on the models and approaches to the internationalization of higher education, and based on this, the reasons are presented as to why a socially responsible university should make the decision to internationalize the profile of its students. The stance of this document considers the internationalization of the curriculum as a means to help universities fulfill their aims of providing inclusive, relevant, sustainable, and quality education within a global context.
